To quote Jimmy Buffet, “I’m an over 40 victim of fate”. Well, ok…over 50!

I’m a recovering workaholic who enjoys flying, sailing, motorcycling, music, photography, and occasionally golf.

I attended Potomac State College, Eastern Mennonite University, and Eastern Mennonite Seminary.

In my life I’ve had lots of jobs…from stall-mucker on a pig farm to Senior Pastor of a great church. The thing I’ve learned is this: never base your identity on anything you can lose. Be it a job, a hobby,  or anything else.  Only the identity we find in Christ lasts.
